Ok, this is going to sound like sarcasm, but its the absolute truth… What’s the best pick up line for the grocery store? It’s… (drumrolls please)… Hi.
Now, now, I get it. Its too simple, too plain, why would you just say hi to a random stranger at the grocery store, isn’t that weird, what will she think, bla bla bla. Guess what… If she dislikes you, there is NO pick up line on the world that will save you. NONE. There is no pick up line that will make “a woman at the grocery store not dislike me”… I’m sorry, that’s the brutal truth.
In fact, using a pick up line just guarantees you leaving a bad impression. So what’s the solution? EASY. Just become the person who talks to EVERYONE. Imagine the following… How hard would it be for you to get to know that woman if you’re the kind of guy who talks to EVERYONE in the grocery store? What if you’re one of those people who just starts conversations with everyone? Think about that one.

I don’t know about the pickup lines specifically for his situation but I’ve actually seen guys pickup girls at grocery stores. Start a convo about something she bought and ask her if she needs help to her car and if she lets you help her get her number as you leave. Your going to have to be smooth for this type of situation though.

I guess it’s possible anywhere really, if you see someone who really takes your fancy. I don’t know about pick-up lines and that, most women probably find them a lil offputting anyway. Maybe just ask her a question? Pick up some ingredients you like and ask her what she thinks would go well with it. Can always ask her to come over and try it hehe.
Or you can go to any shop really, pick up something nice (purfume, jewellry etc) and say your buying it for your mum, sis whatever and ask her what she thinks. Makes you seem like a nice caring guy =D

Sure, go for it!! Just be friendly, and do it when it’s comfortable and non-threatening to her. Do it casually, if you’re looking at the same stuff in an aisle, just strike up a convo about anything just to break the ice. And yeah, if she responds well, ask if you could meet up with her some time for a drink or something. Get her number.
grocery stores are tough. their minds are on shopping, and this is women’s favorite sport. so unless you look like Brad Pitt they’re going to look at you like your nuts.

I was thinking about this today while grocery shopping and I think it’s more of a myth than reality. I seriously don’t think it’s that great of odds to actually seriously get a single chicks number or to actually “hook” up with her and actually go out. I agree with Uncanny that you definitely would have to be smooth to get to the point of helping her to her car… I also agree with Mr. a that more times then none I would presume single women would actually be offput by randomly getting hit on while shopping at the grocery store.
But one can never say never and sure it probably happens once in a great while but I think definitely not as often as articles say that it’s one of the best places to meet and actually hook up with single women. But I think one smooth way to meet a single lady at the Grocery Store would be to wait till the check out and if she drops some items from her bag try to help her pick it up and talk to her while walking out or if she’s trying to carry her bags to her car and looks as though she’s struggling with carrying the bags then offer to help her and start the conversation!!! But I think just striking up a conversation in a Grocery aisle would obviously know that your hitting on her and I think women would be offput…
